Being fully upfront (and in no way am I being ungrateful in the slightest as it's so lovely that Chloe & Matt nominated me), these Awards actually cost £125 to enter (reduced to £80 I think as I've been kindly nominated) but I'm still undecided on entering. There's something about paying to enter an award that seems off and doesn't sit well with me...what do you all think? I understand that awards and running them costs money to run and time and effort etc but the way other awards do it is that they have sponsors which pay for the awards and the awards evening event. Others do it so that you can get nominated and then IF you win you can choose to upgrade your winning complimentary award to a physical trophy because understandably the trophy and the award ceremony needs paying for by someone. I get that.... But paying to enter the award in advance seems odd.
